This image may soon only be viewable hanging on a wall. The threat to life on Earth is real and it's possible we may no longer be able to observe such beautiful landscapes in person. That's why I invite you to take action, there are no excuses. And if you're not sure where to start, let me offer a hint.
Capturing this image was a real challenge for me. I had only one chance to get it right and my client was standing nearby, playing with his drone and making me feel nervous. As the minutes ticked away, I had to set up my tripod in the middle of the rocks and try a new photographic technique that I had never attempted before. My teacher had mastered this technique, but it was my first time trying it with a client. In the end, I managed to set up my tripod and focused on "telling" my camera to capture the moment I was experiencing. The only sounds were the clicks of my camera and the sounds of nature. After taking three shots, I didn't know how they turned out until I was able to download and edit them later. Today, I'm proud to say that I am able to improvise and take risks to capture powerful, emotional visual content that my audience will remember. This image is proof of that.
